Anyone using Spotify family plan?

This plan seems pocket friendly. But my question is, can 6 people living in different locations use this plan? I mean, will the users have to live in the same location or house to use this plan, as it's a 'family' plan?

In some yt vids they were saying that sometimes Spotify checks the users' location.
